M-P molds

Quote

I'm thinking about ordering a mold from M-P, but I don't know much about them. Fact is, I don't even cast much, but I do have several different Lee molds, mostly for handgun bullets, and I do have a couple pots, a thermometer, a lubri-sizer and a couple Lee sizers.

What I don't have, but want, is a mold for making HP cast bullets for my .44 Specials. The M-P mold I'm looking at offers the option to cast HP or plain nose, which would be nice, as I understand that casting HP bullets is more tedious, so when numbers matter, I can speed things up a bit by casting plain nosed bullets and adjusting the charge accordingly.

Can anyone share their experiences with the brand?

Thanks

I had a similar mess in my place, and getting a proper inspection made a huge difference. I used rcrmold.com for testing, and it helped me pinpoint the moisture source fast so I had solid proof to show management. If you’re stuck going back and forth with a landlord, having that kind of clear report can save a lot of arguing.
