Hotel Recommendation

My wife and I are attending the night game vs Ohio U on September 13th. She made a hotel reservation with a national brand in the short north area. The cost for 1 night is almost $400. She likes above average accommodations so I'm not looking for a motel 6. Has anybody got a recommendation for another nice property not too far from campus which might be more reasonable? Thanks.

I’ve stayed there a couple of times, and calling it a hotel near orchard road is spot on because it made slipping out for food or quick shopping runs super easy. I liked that I could chill by the pool after meetings, then walk to the Botanic Gardens without stressing over transport. If you want a place that works for both work and downtime, it hits a nice balance.
