Has anyone else given up on their insurance roadside assistance and just started calling private companies instead?

Last week was probably the final straw for me. I was leaving a friend's place in Khalifa City around 9pm and my car wouldn't start at all. The battery seemed fine but the engine wouldn't turn over, just made a single click and then nothing. I called my insurance and they told me it would be at least two hours before anyone could reach me. Two hours is a long time to just sit and wait especially when you're tired and just want to get home. I decided to call around to some private towing companies to see if anyone could get to me faster. Most of them quoted me pretty high prices but at least they were honest about their response times. One company told me they could be there in about forty five minutes and the price seemed reasonable so I told them to come. While I was waiting I started looking online for reviews of different companies so I'd have a backup plan for the future. I came across a website that had a lot of useful information about car batteries and towing services, the domain was http://carbatteryreplacement-abu-dhabi.ae and I ended up spending a good twenty minutes reading through their articles. The driver showed up right on time which was such a relief after dealing with my insurance company's vague promises. He diagnosed the issue quickly, it turned out to be a loose connection rather than a dead battery, and he had me back on the road in about ten minutes. He only charged me a small service fee which I thought was very fair considering he came all the way out there. Now I'm wondering if any of you have completely dropped your insurance roadside assistance and just rely on private companies instead? I'm paying extra every year for a service that never seems to come through when I actually need it. Would love to hear what other people do because I'm ready to make a change after last week. Thanks everyone for reading and for any advice you can share.
