Golf AC blowing warm after recharge – anyone know a VW specialist in Abu Dhabi?
Quote from Guest on April 7, 2026, 4:28 amI've got a 2015 Golf that started blowing lukewarm air a few weeks ago, so I took it to a random garage that topped up the refrigerant and said it should be fine, but now it's even worse and I can hear this weird hissing noise from behind the dashboard. I'm pretty sure there's a leak somewhere, but the last place didn't even bother checking for it. I came across https://www.alzaabiautocare.com/volkswagen/volkswagen-ac-repair/ and it looks like they actually do proper leak testing with dye or a sniffer, which is what I should have done from the start. Has anyone here had a similar issue with their VW where a simple recharge didn't fix it? I'm worried it might be the evaporator, which I've heard is a dashboard out job, and I don't want to spend a fortune on an older car. Any recommendations for a shop that won't just guess and will actually find the source of the leak?
