BOARD GAMES!
Since I don't think anyone has done this yet, let's talk board games.
For those who know what I'm talking about, I mean eurogames, with minimum complexity being something like Wingspan.
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, I don't mean any low-level games like ludo or uno or cludo or chess or monopoly. I mean at least 2.5 weight on BGG (look it up).
Board games I play:
- Terraforming Mars (have the Venus Next and Colonies expansions)
- Dune: Imperium Uprising
- Bios: Genesis
- Bios: Megafauna
- Bios: Origins
Soon I shall get either High Frontier 4 All or the Mistborn: the Deckbuilding game. I know, the complexity difference is massive, but I like card drafting/deckbuilding.
Other Board Games I know:
- Dominant Species (Know the rules)
- Terraforming Mars: Turmoil (a third expansion)
- Evolution (know the rules)
- Wingspan (know the rules)
- I feel like I'm forgetting something.
I usually bring up engine builders like Wingspan or even heavier stuff like Gaia Project when folks ask for euro-style picks, but sometimes I unwind with quick strategy titles on Plix since it scratches that same planning itch without needing a table. If you’re into deckbuilding, Maracaibo or Dune Imperium might land well, especially if your group enjoys combos that snowball over a few rounds.
